Megan Holbrook began her professional career as a hairstylist and makeup artist with a single passion in mind; a passion to bring out a woman’s inner beauty. The traditional idea of outward beauty to Megan is more than just an aesthetic; but a source of confidence and pride for women.

Megan understands that one of the most important days in a woman’s life is her wedding day. This understanding combined with her extraordinary talent, help fulfill her vision of the Bride not only looking as beautiful as she imagined, but also feeling as beautiful.

After finishing cosmetology school in Centerville Ohio, Megan was not quite satisfied with the extent of her knowledge so she studied to become a Goldwell educator. As an educator she went to salons to teach about the chemistry behind hair color and color techniques. During the time she was an educator, Megan had many opportunities to expand her knowledge and experience: She studied under John Simpson, hair colorist of the year, 2008, where she had the opportunity to become a member of his trend zoom fashion show team in Kansas City, Missouri. It was during this experience that Megan realized she had a passion for styling and makeup which would lead her to the bridal industry. She studied at the Tony & Guy Academy (Dallas, Texas) for bridal hair techniques specializing in up dos and elegant down styles. She also studied at Last Look Makeup Academy (Dallas, Texas) for bridal makeup; learning numerous refined techniques including contouring, corrective make-up, concealing tattoos, and color coordination. Last Look Makeup is where Megan became a certified Airbrush makeup artist as well. She believes that making a woman look amazing on the most photographed day of her life is about enhancing their natural beauty through hair and makeup.

Kate Waters

Kate Waters is, first and foremost, a passionate and talented hair stylist and makeup artist. She was born with a personal desire to make the women around her look and feel as beautiful as possible.

Childhood ambitions grew into an adult career, and she went on to graduate at the top of her class from the highly respected International Academy of Hair Design; both as a license cosmetologist and certified salon manager. She was a protégé of a popular area salon, working under a stylist with more than 25 years of experience where she refined her innate talents and became the wonderful artist that she is today.

Always looking to learn more and maximize her abilities, Kate seeks out opportunities to continually further her education. Carrying multiple certifications in hair styling, cut, and color, as well as makeup application; she is trained to work with nearly every brand on the market, including today’s latest airbrushing techniques. Most recently she has spent time training under the prestigious Hollywood makeup artist, Ashlee Petersen. With an eye on current trends in both hair design and makeup styles, she has a flair for both the classic looks and cutting edge techniques; with an instinct for bringing out the best features of each individual.

Besides her passion and talent regarding all things in the ever changing world of beauty and fashion; she’s also a natural entrepreneur. That’s why in 2008 with her equally gifted business partner Megan Hollbrook, they started Weddhead with a desire to make a woman’s wedding day not only as beautiful as the bride imagined, but also as stress free as possible. And it’s with that combination of passion, focus, and talent that has helped lead to her success and stellar reputation today.
